VIA and Siemens test train arriving into Windsor on a late evening, after VIA 78 had departed. SIIX 2300 led the trip down to Windsor, and you can see the cables for all the testing equipment they had on the Cab car, and they had the same things for the engine on other end, both on the lead truck.

VIA 6409 sits under early morning light, with the Iconic GM Renaissance Center on the left from Detroit, Michagan, across the Detroit River, and on the right side Hiram Walkers factory, from the mid 1800s. Both Major staples of the region. A warm welcome sight to people coming to Windsor, and leaving the town.

CN train E275 pulling down into Sarnia, after being stopped outside of town, while they made some room. CN 5756 and CN 2146, pulled a train of 2/3 autos racks, both loads and empties, and 1/3 of mix freight, which was lots of Bulk loads of lumber and truck frame on flat cars.

ETR 108, on the Sunday Local, heads across Kildare Ave, in Windsor, with 1 empty tank car from Hiram Walker, and 5 Center Beams, from Lumber yard off of Walker Rd. This shot has changed so much over the years, with the disappearance of few factories, the biggest one being GM Transmission plant on the right side.

CN train A43931-6 arriving into Windsor, just after the diner hour, with CN 5650 and CNIC 2718 and 126 cars, mostly empty Autoracks coming into Windsor.

CP 7010 pulls part of it's train away from the rest, on train CP 140, to do a set-off and pick up from CP Windsor Yard. He pulled up to Dougall Ave and did a crew change with US crew coming off and Canadian Crew came on.

CP train 140, with CP 7010, emerging from the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel, on the former Michigan Central/CASO line, on January 1, 2020. It was a cold morning, but well worth the wait.

CN X32461-29 is cutting through Windsor, Ontario, on the CN Chrysler Spur, with CN 3804, CN 3053, and JLCX 2002, on a reroute train, due to the derailment between Port Huron and Sarnia, in the tunnel. This is the 3rd train of many that will be rerouting through windsor, and running along with our only train A438/A439, and 4 VIA each way, that travel along the CN/VIA Chatham Sub.
